An Open Invitation to Discover Christ Love

I pray that he would unveil within you the unlimited riches of his glory and favor until supernatural strength floods your innermost being with his divine might and explosive power. Then, by always using your faith, the life of Christ will be released deep inside you, and the resting place of his love will become the very source and root of your life. Then you will be empowered to discover what every religious one experiences—the great magnitude of the wondrous love of Christ in all its dimensions. How deeply intimate and far-reaching is his passion! How enduring and inclusive it is! Endless love beyond measurement that transcends our understanding—this extravagant love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God! Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your most extraordinary request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power always energizes you.

Ephesians 3:16-20

“I pray that he would unveil within you the unlimited riches of his glory and favor until supernatural strength floods your innermost being with his divine might and explosive power.” In this passage, Paul is praying that Abba would reveal in us the riches of His glory and favor would be uncovered within the sons and daughters of God (The Church) by way of the Holy Spirit. Not only that, but that it would be unveiled supernatural strength that floods our innermost being with His Devine Might and explosive power. Holy Spirit is more than “mister goosebumps” He is the Love of Abba being shed abroad (poured out) in our hearts (Rom 5:5). Paul goes on to write, “Then you will be empowered to discover what every holy one experiences—the great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions.” If your note there is a “Then” there, so we are meant to understand verse 17-20 in light of Paul’s prayer. So, Father unveiling the riches of his power within us gives us the ‘power to discover,’ ‘The great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions.’ That is awesome! The unveiling of the riches of Abba’s Glory and Favor within you becomes the launch pad into an adventure of discovering the dimensions of Love of Christ. Listen to what Paul says next; this is incredible. “How deeply intimate and far- reaching is his love! How enduring and inclusive it is! Endless love beyond measurement that transcends our understanding— this extravagant love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God!” Paul is describing Christ's Love from a place of intimate knowledge. It is far-reaching and personal, measureless and transcendent, enduring and inclusive, and it is endless.

So from a deep understanding of Abba’s glory and a belief that he favors you, a dimension of discovery into the endless depths of Christ love is opened up to you to enjoy all day, every day, in millions of different ways. And out of that intimate exchange of face to face with Abba, his fullness will overflow within you.
